Randall Pollard - Proprietor

 

Randall Pollard has been an independent fine-wine merchant for 20 years. He is an importer, merchant and retailer who regularly visits wine regions and producers. Randall gained a passion for wine whilst working in fine restaurants [back in the days when he had to cook Crêpe Suzette at the table and wear a bow-tie! After studying wine production and marketing at Roseworthy he went on to work with Crittendens, Liquorland and Bannockburn Cellars before starting Randall’s in 1999. He has worked a few vintages, tinkered with his own wines and done a lot of show judging over the years. He travels to France for tasting purposes every year.

Jordan Berry

After eight months in Europe, Jordan returned home with a passion for wine. So much so, he has just successfully completed his Advanced Certificate Three with WSET (with distinction!).  His favorite grape variety is Shiraz but also loves a good Chablis with seafood. A keen surfer, Jordan has come to us from the coast were he managed a succesful supermarket liquor department.

Rod Long

Rod has previously been involved in the hospitality industry including a recent 3-year stint managing hotels in the UK. He is a keen wine man and loves spicy shiraz just above every other international wine style.

 

 

 

Shirlene Morland

After managing a Vineyard and Cellar Door for ten years, Shirl decided it was much more fun dealing with the end product as opposed to the “hard yards” of a vineyard. Shirl loves anything Shiraz, and can steer even the fussiest wine connoisseur in the right direction.

RACHEL not Rachael. Rachel has been in horticulture and hospitality for over ten years now, working at Randalls lets her combine the two industries she loves together. She has always had a love of wine, and now her tastebuds are being tantalised with the large range of cider and beer we have.
