Location: adjacent to the Charmes.History: the word "plante" refers to young vines; the name of this appellation certainly comes from the transformation of an ancient arable land into a vineyard.
Surface: around 40 ares (1 acre).
Soil: shallow, moderately chalky, with a mixture of silt and clay. The bedrock is 50 to 60 cm deep.
It is one of the most delicate wines of the Domain.
The tannic structure, albeit light, ensures a good ageing potential. It should reach its fullness after 5 years.
Still reminiscent of red fruit, with a frank approach, it is quite airy and very elegant.
