Chardonnay was first planted in the Concongella vineyard in the 1970's, a time when cuttings for this variety were very hard to come by. Coming in at 12.5% alcohol, the nose is vibrant displaying lovely citrus and white peach characters supported by whispers of French oak. Acidity keeps the palate fresh and vibrant, bright characters of brioche, white peach, pear and citrus combining to make a lovely, clean mid-weight chardonnay with wonderful texture and finesse.
