This dry Bordeaux Sauvignon Blanc, made by the illustrious wine professor, Denis Dubourdieu is fresh, summery, and lip-smacking. It has subtle flavours of nettles, white peach and tropical fruits, the small addition of semillon rounding out the acidity and adding lovely honeyed notes. The Randall's team Quite pale. Tastes bone dry (Denis Dubourdieu: 'there is no residual sugar in this wine at all') and a little astringent on the finish. Green fruit and tangy. Very competently made. JANCIS ROBINSON
