This is an absolutely amazing value white. It’s a single-site (lieu dit) just 20mt from Puligny Montrachet “Village” level vines of “Reuchaux, which is not far from 1er Cru Les Referts.
Aged in 600lt barrels, it has the reputation to “over-deliver on quality”, so much so, that it is, or has regularly been poured at Noma, one of the world’s most famous restaurants (that also lists many other Chavy-Chouet wines sitting alongside Leflaives, Coches etc.). 2010 is a lower yielding vintage and this wine shows minerality. ripeness and lovely acidity. How can we go wrong!
