I have always been impressed by the reds of the Chateau de Pommard (the quality but not the price!), and this lieu dit is adjacent. In “old times” it was Pommard villages AOC, but today it make a stunning “Bourgogne” with a lot of pride at stake with this wine. Being a “Pomard” in geography and style, it is quite solid, concentrated and firm, however there is a big effort made to keep the wine balanced and not too tannic.
