The gruners of Geyerhof are more citrus-like, firmer and less ‘salty’ than many other Austrian gruners from the great contiguous regions of Kremstal and Wachau. Although the Geyerhofsdo show the doughy characteristics and the slight pepper nuances, they are very spirited and racy. This Rosensteig is a crisp, mouth-watering wine with razor sharp focus and racy acidity. It shows dough, fresh lemon, hints of white pepper and the concentration from yields of less than 2tonnes /acre.
