"The "Firebird" Sylvaner, made from old vines, is really lovely in 2010. The wine offers up a deep and very classy nose of tartorange, grapefruit, wild yeasts, a beautiful bas of soil and atopnote of orange zest. On the palate the wine is deep, fullish and beautifully balanced, with a rock solid core of fruit, bright, zippy acids and superb lenght and grip on the focused and impressively complex finish.
