This wine was tasted amongst a line up of 2010 Shiraz, and to say it was the stand out is an understatement. The boys at Scotchman’s Hill have really hit the mark with this vintage. 100% Bellarine Peninsula Shiraz, the majority coming from estate vineyards with the balance made up from long time suppliers. Rich and savoury fruit flavours dominate this wine, supported by freshness and fine grained tannins which give it length, balance and structure. This is the best Scotchman’s Hill shiraz I have tasted in a long time. It wouldn’t be overpriced at $35. Rod Long, Randall's
