This is a great, inexpensive example of just how well suited the North-East is for Italian varietals. With a nose reminiscent of blueberry and cherries, the palate displays soft, subdued tannins with a broad, fruity and very likable characters of black berry, blueberry, cherry and cassis. Medium bodied with some faint, dusty, spicy characters, the wine is intensely flavoured and very appealing at this price. This has a couple of years left in it but it taste so good now, why wait!
